Dear Weekly Photo Challenge! Thank You for giving me such a headache
I’ve found in my collection 10 or so pictures showing different kinds of contrast. I don’t want to post more than a one photo for each challenge, so it was hard to choose the best (?) one. I have at last decided to publish the picture that may not look like a million dollars, but expresses the idea of contrast in a proper way. Here’s the flowing, steel-grey river contrasted with immobile, bright-yellow sand. And in addition, few fast-moving swifts contrasting with that rather still background.

I like this! It’s amazingly minimalistic!
Thank You Rebekah! I’ve chosen the MOST minimalistic one for this challenge
Greetings!

Why do you limit yourself to just one photo per Challenge? Is that a creative parameter thing?? This is nice
Why? Actually, I don’t know…
Maybe it’s because I think that one powerful and to-the-point photo makes bigger impression on the viewer? However, for the previous challenge I’ve used two pictures, so next time maybe I’ll decide to post some more. Thanks for your comment!
This is just a beautiful shot. Love it!
Thank You Veeh! I must say your blog is excellent. Great to read and great just to look at. Congratulations!
Awww, thanks for your very kind compliment.I am glad to have discovered your blog through the weekly challenge.
Lovely photo and I like the birds too.
Thank You Trudi! Greetings from Poland

I like yours too, especially the trees. Striking…
Simple beauty yet very striking if you glance at the photo deeper.
My heart melted… Thanks!

Excellent shot!
Thanks! Even a total amateur like me can sometimes get a good result
I, too like to only post one photo, it is just a personal preference. Maybe I just haven’t come to a theme where I felt I needed or wanted to post more than one photo.
I like this photo you have chosen for it’s simplicity, it makes me want to be there.

Thank You! Funny thing is that it was taken in the big, crowded city – you’d never tell that… That’s what I like about photography.
Your photo is a fine entry Mothergrogan. Thanks!
My pleasure!
Nice choice to demonstrate contrast. I look forward to strolling through the rest of your blog. Thanks for stopping by.
You’re welcome! Hope you find my blog interesting, however I’m still just a beginner.
I am only a beginner as well. The only way we’ll get to become experts is practice, practice, practice. Fortunately we have wonderful “hobbies” to practice with.
Love the simple elegance of the contrasting tones!
I totally agree. Sometimes the simplest things have the most powerfull effect.
Thanks!
Pretty eye catching as well.
This is a beautiful example of contrast. Great job!;)
Great nature’s job
Thank You!
