How sad,it must have been a beautiful building.
I think it still could be, but no one cares…
it’s very sad … but nice shot
I am sure it has many stories to tell.
My kind of photograph. Good to document before it is totally ruined and gone.
That’s what I’m trying to do…
Thanks for visiting!
sadness & beauty buried in desolation as it succumbs to decay.

Maybe the will restore it
There’s a little hope they will… It’s just cheaper to demolish it and build a completely new building than to restore it.
Thanks for stopping by!
Thank you for listing my blog.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Thank you for the pingback.
You’re welcome Shaanthz!
It is sad to see the deterioration of some of these marvelous old structures. Thankfully, there are some demolition companies and salvage yards that will remove the intricate features of older buildings and resell the moldings, railings, lighting fixtures, doors, etc. to be refinished and reused in newer buildings. Some of the mantelpieces, bar backs, and such, can fetch a hefty price. Yours is a beautiful example of an era when there was pride in craftsmanship. Thank you for the share.
The beautiful molding still shows through the decay… pity really. Great shot!

historic architecture disappearing before your eyes. — such a shame
gosh – I was so involved with the decay of the building that I forgot to say – it’s a great shot with a wordless message.
Thank you Isadora! It’s always a pleasure to hear such compliments. And also thanks for all your likes!

Such a sad pic, mg. You captured the forlornness and bleakness, perfectly.
