I clicked “like” then thought about “liking” a remnant of such an ugly time. But I do like the photo!
What a terrible reminder, but one that may be good to help everyone remember the ugliness and destruction of war.

There’s something appealing in the notion of finding the beauty in what I could only describe as a scar.
Such objects (places) can be beutiful indeed. This one serves also as a memento for the future generations. It’s similar to Gedächtniskirche in Berlin.
