Looks like that leaf got held up on it’s journey downward. Won’t be there long though I’m guessing.
oh, the orphan leaf that wouldn’t give up… a Winter fable in a picture.
I would take it home, dry it well and keep it – orphan no more.
I couldn’t do that. My cat would tear it to pieces. He loves dried leaves so much…
This leaf has the best view in the forest — until the next big wind at least!
I’m always noticing leaves caught on the way down, and there’s something poignant about them, isn’t there? Pretty colors!
