I don’t say I don’t like to indulge myself in delicious food or sweets. However, because living in a big city doesn’t allow me to enjoy much contact with nature, silence and tranquility, I mostly indulge myself with visiting forests, listening to their sounds and inhaling their smells. Better than the best ice-cream…

Beautiful photo and a great indulgence. I am fortunate to live quite near to a lake and to forests and I still feel the indulgence of savouring the beauty there.

I too live in a big city, but I’m fortunate to live in a city (Vancouver, Canada) that is surrounded by nature and wilderness. I’m within walking distance of the ocean, I live on the edge of a large old-growth forest and a half-hour drive from the mountains. I find that being by the seaside or walking in the forest clears my mind like nothing else does.

I can’t complain either. The district I live in is separated from other parts of the city and is literally surrounded by woods. You can even say it is laid within them. If you choose the right direction, you can walk for many hours and see nothing but the trees. The only problem is that you need a time to do that. That’s what I miss the most.
