Whenever we come back from our work he always welcomes us at the doorstep.
At that moment we know we are home.

Guest post by my cat. His full profile in one of my older posts, here.
This is Docent. Probably the most underestimated tourist attraction of Warsaw. Docent lives in a bookstore at one of the most represantative streets of the city. Few yers ago he replaced another cat that had spent there 15 years or so. You can find him lying on the books, strolling from shelf or doing nothing in particular (for God’s sake: he’s a cat, what else could he do!).
From time to time he’s obliged to spend some time in the display window to attract customers and increase sales (that’s a part of his contract). Here you can see Docent promoting some expensive art albums that no one ever bought. He’s bored as hell because he’s already read them all and found nothing interesting.
Docent is a friendly cat so whenever I’m around I try to visit the bookstore to pet him a little. But you have to know the rules: if you pet him a little to long, you’ll be bitten and scrached. I know what I’m talking about!
If you happen to be in Warsaw one day, please stop by abd say hello to Docent.
As some of the visitors to my blog probably know, there is one feline creature present in my life.
We spend a lot of time together, usually in a very active manner. The list of our activities includes: fighting, defending from persistent demand of food, chasing each other or small, spherical objects (his job, not mine).
But from time to time we experience the moments of complete peacefulness and tranquility. Then, we can just sit together and look through the window in a perfect harmony.
(Note: yes, I was crouching and he was sitting on my arm. And: yes, I took this photo myself, still don’t know how…) Continue reading “Weekly Photo Challenge: Through”
If you can’t stand another cat photo found on the Net, stop reading this post right now.
For over a year and a half we’ve been proud owners of a cat named Kidi (aka Ginger). Correction: we’re owned by him.
He loves birds just as much as we do. Unfortunately, the window glass stops him from expressing his feelings toward them in a full way.
Born fighter, Kidi takes regular assaults on our hands using his extremely sharp claws and teeth. We think that’s what he’s going to do for the living when he grow up. If ever…
He’s also highly interested in IT and Web 2.0 technology, which manifests itself in lying flat on a computer keyboard. Laptop will also do.
Other words describing Kidi: sweet, cute, awwwww, furry, sleep, eat, more sleeping, anything to eat, and others form the Standard Web Cat Description.
